CULTURAL PLANNER

NARRATIVE
OF CULTURE

  1. CULTURAL PLANNING
  2. PUBLIC ART

As an artist and a cultural planner, I design inventive regenerative systems where creativity, commerce, and community support each other in a self-sustaining loop. Researching cultural and economic assets to identify how people, spaces, and industries connect and, more importantly, how they can grow together. My approach is iterative and embedded, rooted in local knowledge and focused on long-term vitality. I draw from models like the Ferry Building in San Francisco, where curated retail, food systems, and civic identity converge to form an ecosystem, not just a marketplace.

I see the potential to plant an ecological cultural system where mixed-use development, creative support businesses, and cultural satellites orbit and nourish larger institutions. Inspired by Jane Jacobs’ emphasis on local economies and Rebecca Solnit’s insights into communal resilience, my work prioritizes real relationships and practical infrastructure that allow cultural life to flourish organically and economically.
